Generosity is the greatest tool one has to dismantle money's hold on one's life. By giving, one can recognize from Whom wealth is given. It allows one to look beyond themselves, expressing of the love of Christ, when given in His name. Givers offer money, time, intellect, labor, relationships, prayer and many other resources to meet the needs of others. Giving should be done, in faith, with a holistic perspective in mind, taking into account immediate needs and long term needs. It is not that the money is needed by God, but that it is good for man to give.
